The Blogging Thing
Well, it seems like the entire world is blogging. So I thought I better get with the picture. Especially if I want to keep considering myself computer savvy. I guess we'll see how long it lasts.

1 Month Old!
Lincoln is 1 Month old today! I can't believe how fast time goes by. And I can not believe how fast he is growing either! He already has such a strong personality for such a little guy. Life has definitely changed. I get a lot less sleep and a lot less time in the day- or at least that is how it feels. But the loss of these things does not seem to matter because I have a cute little boy who has taken center stage!
Rachel is going to be induced in less than two days. Unless the baby decides to come on its' own. (But the doctor does not have high hopes as that has not happened with any of the past four!)
I still can not believe she does not find out what she is having. I am routing for a boy so my little man will have a pal to grow up with. Although I am sure if it is a girl they will have just as much fun together! I guess we just have to wait and see!

Lincoln's First Holiday!
Happy 4th of July! It is extra special for us this year as it Lincoln's first holiday! So not only are we celebrating our countries freedom, but we get to celebrate the birth of our son! He is a little young for Fireworks so we stayed at home and watched fireworks on TV while Justin went over to a friends house for a little while. (It's the one time a year were men can let their love of fire and explosions show and no one worries about them!)

A Little Yellow
We are still in the Hospital due to Lincoln being a little yellow. They are continuously checking his blood levels to make sure the jaundice is under control. They have even brought in an ultraviolet light called a "Billi Blanket". We have to try and keep it on him as much as possible. Which makes it somewhat difficult to put him down as the light does not always like to cooperate. At first they thought they were going to have to take him to the nursery to put him under the big lights, but our nurse was determined to get us a mobile unit. And her hard work paid off. She was able to find one for us which means Lincoln can stay here with us!
I am not sure how long I am allowed stay in the Hospital. But I am glad to say that the bloating is finally starting to let up. I was so full of fluids it was crazy. It was worse than any of my pregnancy water retention! (But I guess since they pumped me full of I don't know how many bags of pitosin I should not have been surprised!)I just hope they let both of us go home soon!
I also got to finally have solid food this morning. But I now know first hand why hospital food gets such a bad rap. I got some type of egg loaf. I did not even attempt to try this concoction but Justin did. After which he promptly spit it out!!
He is being such a good sport about everything. He is even sleeping here in the room on some mini roll away bed that makes awful noises every time he moves! It is nice to have him close as my incision makes it a little bit hard to react quickly. I have not been in too much pain, but there are times that I try to move too quickly and I get a knee dropping pain shooting through my entire body!!

Welcome to the World!
Lincoln Lamond LeFevre was born today at 9:27 am. He weighed 8 lbs 9oz and was 19 1/4 inches long. It was an amazing experience, but a very tiring one also.
We went to the hospital on Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning but he decided that it wasn't time to have a birthday yet. He just did not want to come out. And after a few hours of pushing Dr. Bart decided it was time to take him whether he wanted to come or not. So I was rolled down to the Operating Room and had an Emergency C-Section! It was somewhat frustrating to have all the work up to that point be somewhat unnecessary. But once I saw my little man, everything was worth it!
