Vacation Here We Come!

It is hard to put into words just how excited I am to be preparing to go out of town tomorrow! We are going to Idaho for Lauren's baptism on Saturday. And both Justin and I are long past due for a little down time. The past few months have been quite busy, and the past few weeks have been even worse. I think last week Justin was starting to feel like a single parent! So I think this short vacation might be just what the Doctor ordered! Let's hope Lincoln cooperates with our plans for a relaxing long weekend!

My Camera is Toast :(

I am so sad to have to say goodbye to my beloved Kodak camera. :( But it had a little mishap and the screen is broken.(It accidently got dropped a little too far!) Which would not be a huge issue except it does not have any other type of viewer! So you can not see what you are pointing at or if you got a good picture of the subject. Luckily, I did get a new camera for Justin on Black Thursday, I just don't like it as much because it does not have a rechargeable battery and it eats through Double A's like they are going out of style! But for now it will have to do and I am sure it will do just fine!

Nashville Tribute Band

What an awesome concert! I traveled to St. George this afternoon with Carol, Lorina, Lorina's friend Bonnie, and her husband. The concert was held at the Tuacahn Amphitheater, which if you have never had the opportunity of going to, you are missing out. The Nashville Tribute Band is also an awesome group if you have not heard anything by them you are also missing out!

They have two CD's out right now- Joseph: A Tribute to the Prophet and Trek: A Tribute to the Pioneers. They both have some awesome songs on them. I think ever since Lorina gave me the Joseph CD it has been playing almost non-stop in my car! I have not yet purchased Trek, but it is the next item on my list. Maybe, someone will get it for me for my birthday! (Hint, Hint) They also announced they were in the process of creating a new CD that will have a missionary theme.
Even though the drive to St. George was longer than the concert itself, it was well worth the trip! Maybe, they will come to Vegas soon!

Happy Birthday Mom

My Mom is awesome! I still have so much to learn from her it is not even funny. From her uncanny ability to create things out of black nut cups to her amazing smocking skills, I might never learn enough! Oh well, I guess that's why she is my Mom- to make up for my shortcomings!
Anyway, we decided to celebrate her Birthday by taking her out for a Girls Night Out! So Rachel, Sherri, Nana and I took her to dinner at Carmines and then went back to Nana's house and played games. It was so fun to be out with just the girls. Not that we don't love the little ones, but sometimes it is so nice to have a sit down meal without trying to control the chaos the occurs when food is placed in front of a small child!

(I took my camera, but I of course never got it out of the purse!)

Bonnie Springs

The LeFevre's took Lincoln up to Bonnie Springs today. It was a pretty good deal at $20 a car load and he loved it! So that makes it all the better!! He got to pet bunnies and feed ducks. What's not fun about that!!

He loves animals. Much to the dismay of BeeGee (Nana's Dog) and Sparkle (Rachel's Cat) as he tends to get a little rougher than they might like! So getting to actually touch all kinds of animals must have seemed like heaven to him!

Blowing Flowers!

We took Lincoln to the park today. And he was enthralled with the Dandelions. It was so funny to watch him try and blow those little pieces off each flower. I think he ended up eating more than he blew off! He wasn't too impressed with their taste!
