Memorial Day

It is always nice to have a three day weekend to spend with the Family. Although Justin did spend most of his Saturday in Pahrump at the paintball field and Lincoln and I spent the afternoon at work. We did manage to find some together time the rest of the weekend.

We took Lincoln to the park on a glorious Sunday afternoon. I think we almost lulled him to sleep in the swing, but he did seem to enjoy it. He was not too sure about the slides though. (I think he is still a little young for those!)





He also had a blast working with his dad in the yard on Monday. Especially when he found out that it included the opportunity to play in the water!

Vacation for Eight!

Who knew Disneyland could be so fun without kids! Justin and I spent a long weekend with friends at Disneyland and we definitely have some new tales to tell. We encountered everything from a Tidal Wave on Splash Mountain to an unscheduled stop on Pirates of the Caribbean.
It was so much fun to just relax, spend time with friends, and sleep through the night without a baby monitor in the background.

Another Attempt!

Well, as anyone can plainly see my last attempt at using a blog failed miserably-considering my last post was in September 2007. And it would have probably stayed that way, except that a certain friend of mine (Lisa) keeps telling me how easy it is and that I really need to catch up with the times. So here I am on Vacation trying to take her advice and get this whole blogging thing going. I guess only time will tell!
